The "VM i Rørospols" - Røros-pols World Championship and Dance Weekend 2011
The dance contest will take place Saturday October 8, at Vauldalen conference center.
Contest categories are:
Junior: up to and including 20 years of age
Senior: 21 years of age and over.The contest will be held as follows:
Groups of couples will first dance 20 min.
Couples from each group will be selected to progress to the quarter- and semifinals.
Semifinals will be held in the same way and couples will be selected to participate in the final round.Music for the contest will be provided by local music groups. A variety of tunes will be played, both with and without bass and guitar accompaniment.
The contest will begin at 20:00.
Deadline for registration and payment of fees is October 1.
